I Am Le Tired (with gifs!)

After nearly six months of writing, editing, designing, formatting, proofing, and then repeating more of the same, I am officially tired.

I'm not one to rest of my laurels, and so I've officially begun work on my next project in earnest. Of course, I've been working on it for months already, but today is the day when I put JUNGLELAND (click the linky-linky) behind me, and forge ahead with a new idea.

You authors will know this feeling. You slave and slave and slave away on a project and you expect to be handsomely rewarded for your efforts. And then...

Yeah, here's the thing: nobody but me really cares about whether my book succeeds. I'm happy it's out there and I'm happy so many people are reading and enjoying it. But still, I got work to do.

Oh, one more quick note before I get back to writing. Thanks to everyone for the kind words of support. I feel very loved right now.

  1. Editing is always the most tiresome part for me. If you do it thoroughly, you will have gone over your manuscript so many times that you're about ready to light your computer on fire just so you won't have to go though it one...more...time...
